How Saiqic Was Born
Hey, it’s me, Shafiq Saiq (you can call me Saiqo)….I’m the founder & CEO of Saiqic.
I started my freelancing journey on good old Fiverr in 2021. I used to write SEO blogs and web content for individual clients.
I did this for 1.5 years…and then my Fiverr got banned. God had big plans for me.
So I started offering my services on LinkedIn & Upwork.
Now I’m a Top-Rated Plus (Top 3% of talent on Upwork) SEO content strategist and writer. And I own a really cool community of over 7.5k on LinkedIn.
In 2025, I got clients who wanted me to take care of everything…SEO, content, management…so I gathered the best talent I had in my community, and we managed our clients full-stack.
After working with 20+ different freelancers (SEOs, developers, other SEO writers), I thought, why not start a non-typical agency, as I have the best talent in my community? I sat with the idea for over 8 months…and after so much procrastination and delay, we finally started Saiqic in November 2025.
And ohh yess it took me 3 months to come up with this name. Nothing else was vibing with what we do and how we do it. I’ll tell you why.
Why The Name Saiqic?
There are two reasons we zeroed in on this name;
1. I’m known as the SAIQO in my freelance community. SAIQO is derived from my surname, Saiq. But in the SEO writing context, SAIQO is my mantra. It’s an acronym that describes my approach to SEO content writing. S = Search Intent. A = Authenticity. I = Insightful. Q = Quality. O = Original.
First, I thought of naming agency SAIQO. But SAIQO doesn’t sound like a brand name and I’ve got a brilliant team so what about them? That’s when we came up with the name, Saiqic (a play on the word psychic), that has the brand vibes I want to establish.
2. We offer full-stack SEO content writing services. And you know the biggest factor to deliver the best performing and ROI generating SEO content is to know the target audience of our clients. In other words, read the mind (that’s what a psychic does) of the target audience (what they want, how they want it, why they want it). And me, my SEO writers, my developers, and SEOs are equipped with years of practice and exposure to tens of industries to dissect the minds of our clients’ target audience.
